Abstract

In today’s world, almost every corporation is putting tremendous effort to set sustainability targets and provide sustainable operations and products. Ensuring access to affordable and clean energy is defined as one of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and is a top priority for the energy industry. This presentation will provide insights about the fundamentals of sustainability and the future trends in energy.

Bio: 

Ekin Özdoğan Gözen is the Senior Renewable Power Project Developer at Shell focusing on global power generation projects sourced by renewables. She received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Middle East Technical University and Ph.D. in Energy Resources Engineering from Stanford University. She joined Shell in 2013 and has expertise in investment evaluation and project management in downstream and renewables businesses.
